Can you help Ashland, KY’s Paramount Center with a Uke?
Dateline: today.. right now.. do it. The Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky is seeking stringed and percussion instrument donations, including ukes. The instruments will be used to work with local youth, in college camps, workshops, and with patients through its HEARTS program. Donations are tax deductible.
I know we are community-oriented. “Why should I send a uke to Kentucky when it’s probably needed here?” But most of us don’t really know a need in our own areas else we would have given ukes to that cause already. Now, here is a group that’s willing to take what’s given and start musical programs and also bring a bit of joy to patients and all we have to do is donate one instrument to make that happen.
